About the event

Join the Mission District community in honoring our ancestors—beloved family and friends who live on in our memories. On November 2, we will process through the streets of the Mission District in a remembrance walk beginning at 7 p.m. The procession starts at the corner of 22nd and Bryant, moving towards 24th and Bryant, then west to 24th and Mission Street, and north to 22nd and Mission, before returning to 22nd and Bryant. Led by the Azteca Dancers, we’ll pause at each main corner for a ritual dance, honoring each direction. The two-hour procession is organized by El Colectivo del Rescate Cultural de La Misión.
