About the event
BVHM is San Francisco's first Spanish-language immersion school, and the only public school in the nation to host a shelter on-site. They are are an arts school focused on building social justice leaders.
They are hosting their first-ever Street Festival on Valencia Street between 23rd and 24th. It will be a celebration of ther school and community, with a live salsa group, the BVHM Mariachi Band with special guests, and a performance by Cuicacalli, led by their dance teacher; a Kids' Zone with giant bubbles, an obstacle course, and a mural project led by their arts enrichment coordinator; food, drinks, dancing; and a ticketed lucha libre event.
