Yeison Jimenez

Born in Neiva, Colombia, Yeison moved to the United States four years ago. His connection to the Mission District began through the arts, proudly serving as King of Carnaval San Francisco 2024 and representing the richness of Latin American heritage.

He holds a degree in Foreign Languages with an emphasis in English and has extensive experience leading educational and artistic projects for both children and adults. As a dancer, choreographer, and actor, he has worked with community-based dance programs in Colombia, using art as a tool for social transformation.

Now serving as the Office Administrator at Calle 24 Latino Cultural District, he brings his passion for the arts and deep commitment to social causes to support the well-being and growth of the Latinx community.

If he could describe himself in two words, they would be: Passionate and Resilient.
