About the event
Acción Latina invites the community to join in honoring ancestors and celebrating Día de los Muertos on Sunday, November 2nd, from 5–9 PM.
The community altar, created in collaboration with The Marigold Project and featuring artists Danielle Revives and Slehiman “Deni” Aguilera, offers a space for attendees to leave messages of love, hope, or remembrance for those who came before us.
This year’s ofrenda embodies themes of liberation, social justice, and shared struggle across cultures and generations, connecting ancestors to the present moment in the Mission District, San Francisco, and beyond.
