About the event

The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA) presents its 25th Annual Day of the Dead Altar Exhibition, a vibrant celebration honoring life, memory, and tradition. This year’s Community Ofrenda is dedicated to Alfonso Ochoa, Patricia Rodriguez, Martha A. Rodriguez, Diane Rodriguez Chip, and Richard Talavera, whose legacies continue to inspire the community.

Visitors are invited to explore altars and offerings created by local artists that honor ancestors and loved ones, showcasing the beauty and cultural significance of Día de los Muertos.

Special Events:

  • VIP Day of the Dead Benefit Gala: Friday, October 25 | 5:30–9:00 PM

  • Día de los Angelitos: Saturday, November 1 | 5:00–8:00 PM

  • Día de los Muertos Community Celebration: Sunday, November 2 | 5:00–10:00 PM
