About the event

In the mountains of Chiapas, a Tzeltal Mayan community organizes into a Community Government, as part of a movement that seeks to maintain and recover the millennial community practices of Lekil Kujlejal, or “right living”. Lekil Kujlejal seeks a holistic way of living that promotes mutual care and respect for nature and is rooted in the belief that all beings are interdependent. Films by Chiapas Support Committee member Caitlin Manning. Discussion with the filmmaker following the screening.
