Warango Anniversary Concert: Experience a Night of Afro-Peruvian Rhythms

Warango is a musical project born in 2019 in Oakland, California. Its music is based on vibrant Afro-Peruvian rhythms. This proposal is a meeting of traditional sounds represented by the Cajón, which symbolizes Afro-Peruvian roots; with harmonies and melodies of jazz and classical music. These worlds coexist in the sounds of Warango creating a unique musical proposal.

Warango is led by Pierr Padilla Vasquez, a Peruvian musician and dancer with a recognized artistic career who has spread Afro-Peruvian culture throughout America, Asia and Europe. The group is made up of Javier Trujillo, a Peruvian guitarist with a background in classical and contemporary music. Kyla Danysh, an American violinist who has a background in jazz and Latin American popular music.
